The Board of the Cannabis Trades Association (CTA) convenes monthly to deliberate on a range of critical topics integral to the functioning and strategic direction of the association. 

The focus areas during these meetings include the overall strategy and policy of the association, aimed at both current and future industry landscapes. The board also tackles current challenges within the industry, which are pivotal in shaping responses and strategies moving forward.

Member issues are routinely addressed, ensuring that the interests and concerns of  are considered and acted upon. Updates from regulators and government entities are another key agenda item, providing the board with the latest legislative and regulatory changes affecting the industry. This is crucial for maintaining compliance and for strategic planning.

The board also discusses international news that could impact the local market, keeping the association abreast of global trends and potential opportunities or threats.

 Governance matters are reviewed as needed, ensuring that the association remains accountable and operates within its articles.

New directors are elected after the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March by the current board members and serve as non-executive directors, bringing fresh perspectives and insights to the board. Currently, the board has eleven directors, each bringing their own unique expertise and experience to the table, collectively driving the association towards its goals.
