General Practitioners (GPs) play a vital role in the healthcare ecosystem, and their expertise is crucial in facilitating patient access to medicinal cannabis. The CTA advocates for the recognition of GPs as specialists in general prescribing. 

By providing comprehensive training programs, educational resources, and support networks, we work to empower GPs to confidently prescribe medicinal cannabis where appropriate, to enhance patient outcomes and ensure responsible medicinal cannabis use.
