A CTA Ambassador is an individual recognised by the Cannabis Trades Association for actively supporting the growth, credibility, and professional standards of the cannabis, hemp, and wellness sectors.

Ambassadors play an important role in strengthening the Association’s reach by helping to introduce businesses, stakeholders, and decision makers to the CTA before formal membership conversations take place.

This is not a formal employment or representative role. Instead, it is a recognition of trusted individuals who help promote awareness of the Association and encourage engagement across the sector.

The Purpose of the Ambassador Role

CTA Ambassadors help advance the Association’s work by:

  • Encouraging suitable businesses and organisations to consider CTA membership
  • Introducing potential members to the Association ahead of formal discussions
  • Promoting awareness of the CTA’s standards, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Supporting sector credibility through professional advocacy
  • Connecting stakeholders, policymakers, and industry professionals with the CTA
  • Sharing CTA updates, events, and resources within their networks

The role supports both sector development and responsible industry growth.
